Questions

Does it work without a signal?

Yes. The phone app saves everything on the phone and syncs when it can. The Windows and browser versions need a connection.

What about pigs, sheep, and goats?

Each animal has a species, and the sexes and breed lists follow it: barrows and gilts, ewes and wethers, does and bucks. One app for the whole barn.

Can my 4-H leader see my records?

Invite them as view-only from Herd sharing. They see everything, change nothing. The record book prints from any device.

Where is my data?

On your phone, and, when you sign in, in RingStock's cloud (hosted in the United States) so it reaches your other devices. Nobody else can see it unless you invite them. See the privacy policy.

Can I get my data out?

Any time: CSV of the herd, a full backup file, and every report as PDF, Word, or Excel.
